Fun in the Garden!
The 2-3's have been having a great time in the garden this week, despite the changeable and unpredictable weather!
Some of us have enjoyed 'splodge' painting outside. This messy play activity is so much fun and is easy to do at home using old tights and rice. Fill the tights up, tie at the top and splodge them into some poster paint. We used large pieces of cardboard to paint on and found that the outside area was best to maximise space and minimise spillages.
We've also been having lots of fun, racing on our bikes. The children love to ride the trikes and scooters around the garden and with this in mind we have decided that this year we will be taking part in a sponsored 'scoot' to raise money for Barnardo's. It will take place on Friday 30th May and everybody is invited to take part. We will be handing out sponsorship forms very soon and hope all parents and carers can help us show our support for this charity. Please see your keyworker for more details.
