We have continued to enjoy some lovely sunshine this week and have spent lots of time in the garden. Please ensure you are packing sun hats in your children's bag now the weather is getting warmer. We provide sun cream here at the nursery but if you have a preference to using your own sun cream please let us know if you already haven't.
Bella set up an inviting Easter themed activity this week. We used dry loose leaf tea to create soil, placing carrots in pots we encouraged children to scoop the tea pretending to plant the carrots. Bella stuck rabbits onto tweezers and the children were encouraged to pull the carrots out the pots.
We enjoyed a trip to Mayfield schools play area on Wednesday. The children had a lot of fun exploring all the play equipment, jumping on the trampoline, going on the slides and swings. We enjoyed a picnic snack.
We also enjoyed a little walk to the local park at the end of last week, enjoying snack in the sun, swinging on the tyre swing and playing ball games on the grass.
