SUMMER WALKS!
We are so happy summer is finally here!
In the past couple of weeks, we have been making the most of the sunshine by going on walks to Brunel Woods.
We have enjoyed collecting leaves to create different prints, we used the trees to make various effects on paper and we also listened to all the sounds and noises in the woods. We heard lots of birds and heard the wind blowing through the HUGE trees. The trees were very tall and we were trying to guess how old they were!
We changed the route each time we went to make it more exciting and we saw lots of new things.
We found a bench in a really nice spot, so we could have our snack and a drink (we needed it after all the walking we did) and we also found a den!
We were so excited to explore it and even sat down to have a photo and some milk :) We sang some songs and pretended we were camping, it was so much fun.
We found new routes each time we went which means more exciting trips to the woods. We are so excited to go again! Maybe next time we will find The Gruffalo :)
