W/C 22.05.17

The children have shown a particular interest in mark making with small world animals this week, both indoors and outdoors. We used paint and a variety of animals to create different marks on paper. Some children extended their own play, enjoying a more sensory experience by painting their hands and arms.

Another particular interest this week has been our mud kitchen. We have been busy creating potions for the fairies in the garden. The children collected flower petals they found on the floor, stones and other exciting treasures.

Another firm favourite outside this week has been our wooden building blocks and shaving foam...

Lot's of the children really enjoyed visiting this area several times throughout the week. They used a variety of tools such as; rollers and paint brushes to spread shaving foam on the bricks before choosing to build them into different structures.
