SHOWTIME!

The 2-3's have been showing us their many talents this month using our puppet theatre. The children have enjoyed handling the puppets, making them dance, talk  and even sing their favourite songs and nursery rhymes. 

Even our shyest children have found confidence with a puppet on their hand and we have found that the children are communicating with each other and experimenting with new words and language whilst using the puppets. Some of the grown ups have also had a go, putting on puppet shows and re- enacting stories for the children with puppets and props. 

This idea can easily be recreated at home with a cardboard box and some soft toy characters, creating lots of fun for the whole family.
