                                                                 Autumn has started!

We are celebrating the change of season in the 2-3's Room this month by exploring all things Autumn!

Some of our children have collected leaves and conkers which we have used to create paintings and collages to display around the nursery. The children love to 'crunch' the leaves and conkers are the perfect shape to roll around in paint, making some interesting patterns. 

We have also been embracing the Autumn weather and wrapping up in our wellies and waterproofs for some puddle jumping! The children love to copy Peppa Pig and jump into the muddy puddles. . Afterwards we dried off, put on some warm clothes and enjoyed a cosy story time inside. 

Please ensure that your child has the opportunity to involve themselves in these activities by supplying some wellies, waterproof,s a rucksack full of spare clothes and lots of dry socks.
