November 2014
November in the 2-3's Room.
We have been busy in the 2-3's room this month, raising money for Children in Need 2014. We had a very successful cake sale with many of the staff, parents and children showing off their baking skills and providing a range of yummy cakes and biscuits for us to sell.
We also had a fancy dress day for both adults and children. Superhero outfits proved very popular and the children were keen to pose for pictures, showing off their muscles before zipping off to continue 'saving the world'.
The staff joined in too, with lots of us wearing pyjamas, spotty outfits and Pudsey ears to raise money for charity.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our fundraising efforts this year, both the cake bakers and cake buyers who helped us to raise almost £100 to help Children in Need.
We'd also like to thank all of the parents and carers who joined us for our stay and play craft days. The children were very proud when showing their adults around the setting and were keen to make leaf people, butterflies and jellyfish together to take home. Don't forget to keep an eye out for next terms stay and play dates that will be advertised in our newsletter.
