End of Term 2015
We have been very busy again this month with lots of new ideas from our key-workers to interest and inspire all of the children.
Children practised their letter recognition by pulling letters out of our squidgy, slimy gelli baff.
Our car and bike wash was very popular with the children. It encouraged them to work collaboratively and to share resources between them, taking turns to either 'drive' or 'wash'.
Children developed their critical thinking skills by completing puzzles of their own faces, some played snap and pairs with pictures of themselves and their friends.
The children decided themselves to develop the treasure hunting in the garden by drawing their own maps to follow.
Some children developed their fine motor skills and helped to prepare snack for themselves and their friends.
Our sound-boxes contained the noises of the jungle this week and children were very good at identifying the different sounds of their favourite animals.
Our baby role play continues to be very popular. This week we practised our self care skills as we bathed, dried and dressed the dollies in small groups.
And not forgetting, a big congratulations to all of those children who are leaving us for new settings in September. You have all achieved so much this year. We wish you best of luck at Pre School and beyond!
