December has certainly been a busy month over the 2-3s side ...
With Christmas fast approaching, the children have been busy within their key groups creating some lovely, sentimental decorations and pictures to take home and share with their families.
They've enjoyed a wide range of experiences from making salt dough decorations to creating a selection of pictures using paint, glue and coloured glitter.

Our salt dough activity has been a particular favourite. The children experimented with a variety of tools including; rolling pins, shape cutters and play dough knives in order to manipulate and create their own shapes. They also enjoyed painting them and decorating them with glitter before taking them home to hang on their Christmas tree.

With the end of another term upon us, we've sadly said goodbye to some our older children as they will be moving over to the Foundation Unit while others transition into new settings elsewhere.
We wish you all the very best of luck of your new adventure!
We'd also like to wish all of our current families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We look forward to seeing you all in 2018!!
